McLeodganj is a short term of dharamshala located at kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. McLeodganj is also known as Lhasa and Dhasa which is a short term of dharamshala, as it has a large population of Tibetans. McLeod Ganj was named after Sir Donald Friell McLeod, a Lieutenant Governor of Punjab. It is a nice place for adventure camping. But people also come here to study Tibetan Buddhism, culture, crafts, etc.
It is a place of tourism. Many people visit here elect adventure camps. Many places are here to visit which can increase the interest of people to come here. Some important places to visit are Bhagsu water fall, Moon light cafe, Triund Hill, Dal lake, Dalai Lama temple etc.
